 The "Called & Gifted" workshop is a weekend opportunity to come together to reflect on the meaning of mission in the tradition of the Congregation of Christian Brothers. It is a time to reflect on the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice, the founder of the Christian Brothers, and how that charism effects all who work with the Brothers in the ministry of education.
The workshop will involve some presentations, some personal prayer and reflection, and some discussion. It is hoped that the experience will help participants grow in their understanding and appreciation of the charism of Blessed Edmund and his followers and that participants will take back with them a deeper sense of their role in the education ministry of the Church and of the Christian Brothers. The workshop also reminds participants that they, along with others of the Edmund Rice Family, are called to serve the Church and have been gifted with the blessings of God to complete that service.
